Manny Diaz lost the BYU game. We had to go to a pass heavy attack bc we got down by so many scores and that isn't our personality offensively.

Interesting ESPN selections for "Position U" rankings. Fans always talk like their program's are "(insert position)-U", so ESPN decided to rank them based on actual results.

It's only based on the 2000's.

Ranked based on awards, draft picks, etc.

OU was picked #1 as QBU,
    http://newsok.com/ou-is-quarterback-u-of-2000s-according-to-espn-rankings/article/4923348

    #2 "RBU" school.

Top 5 in everything but Tight Ends and WR's.

    and defensively we're ranked...

    #2 "DBU" school.

I 🤬 with it. At least they put together a system instead of going off hype and prisoner of the moment narratives like fans do.

That Sporting News is just one publication, I've seen some preseason polls with them in the top 6.

They did lose about 6 or 7 starters on Defense tho (which is their bread and butter.)

Grambling could possibly be replaced as the other participant in the Bayou Classic according to a report from the Monroe News-Star.

Mercedes-Benz Superdome management is reportedly discussing the possibility of replacing Southern's opponent in the Thanksgiving-week game due to low attendance.

Another option being reportedly discussed is moving the game to the season opener.

Grambling has not had much success on the field in recent years winning just two game the last to seasons.

The football program made national headlines last season after boycotting a game due to the poor conditions of their athletic facilities.

    Really..........................................................Southern too good for Grambling.

Actually the Magic City Classic 🤬 on both of them because they have it in a city that has nothing going on. They want to make the game profitable. Move it to Shreveport one year and rotate it to Grambling and Southern.

The football program made national headlines last season after boycotting a game due to the poor conditions of their athletic facilities.

    Really..........................................................Southern too good for Grambling.

Man I read that 🤬 and was like dayum...The classic has struggle a bit since Hurricane Katrina...it's trying to get back to how it was...that game use to be the 🤬 back in the 90s and early 2000s..hoes every where from every where...I think it will be back on track..Southern is getting back to how they were and GSU is coming back strong..but that SU vs JSU game is the game...

The faggies are killing the recruiting game right now. Interested to see how it translates onto the field. They have all the talent but lack discipline.

Aggies are just doing what texass did for years under mack brown which is just try to snatch up anything with a pulse and 4/5 stars.

We've snatched a couple recruits from them already this year.

If you play OL and wear #71 for OU, you best put them paws on a muthaphucka.

Lmao..it'll be even worse if it was in shreveport.

About to do a rebuttal on this but upon further research. more people showed up for Jackson state vs Prairie View in Shreveport than Alcorn vs Grambling in Shreveport.

I guess I remember the glory days when it was damn near standing room only to watch a Grambling game at Independence stadium. that was maybe only ten years ago.

University of Florida coaches are accusing two Miami assistants of taking the incriminating pictures. Both universities are not commenting on the matter. However, head coaches at several high schools around the state have decided to ban Miami coaches from coming on their campuses.
