I'm still not quite sure how I feel about that first episode, watched it again last night and cant help but feel that kid shooting was just a little overboard and random. I read Kurt's comments on it and understand where he was going with it, but he could have done the same with just a random shoot out between the gangs and having some kid get caught in the crossfire.

Nah, the 🤬 with the kid sends a more powerful message.
Not necessarily in terms of the storyline, but in terms of unintended consequences of the club's actions.
Basically, a shootout with the gangs would be expected......the kid shooting up the school wouldn't be.
Then again, judging by the 🤬 that kid had in his notebook/diary....he had some serious issues.
It looked like he was Dave Navarro and that blonde chick's kid, so maybe Sutter is trying to send a message about what kind of effect that lifestyle can have on a kid to as well.

same 🤬 i was saying after last season's finale...tig deserved to be handled for what he did but he got off scot free and pope caught a bullet. At the hands of tig no less.. -
Yo thats one of the top 3 coldest 🤬 that has ever happened on the show, the other watching Gemma getting 🤬 by three guys at the beginning of season 2... and all of Otto's 🤬 since last season one after another... of course Opie's death is up there also.

I can't condone this. Kurt Sutter plays Otto, man. Who the 🤬 plays a character in a show they run and does an explicit scene of that character being 🤬 lol. That should get any Director or Producer a sideways look. You couldn't imply the 🤬 naw you had to do a close up shot FOH lol these Mister Cee 🤬 need to stop livin that lie
