There's a story on the main page, originally reported at PWInsider.com, that there's talk backstage of SmackDown! going to 3 hours. WWE's current deal with Syfy expires at the end of next month, though a new deal is expected to be signed as SmackDown! is easily the highest rated show on the network.

NoNot fond of the idea because t essentially means that over time Main Event will be two hours.
Wrestlemania hasn't been GREAT since the move to 4 hours. There's been some good-decent WMs but no GREAT ones.
