Not true, Batman is very close to Cap in fighting skills, actually surpassing him. If he can fight with Lady Shiva and them, then he can fight with Cap. -

I dunno, Bro. That Super Soldier Serum in Cap's system puts him at peak human physical condition...which means he's in better shape than most Olympic athletes. Plus it eliminates fatigue poisons, meaning he won't tire out.
His reaction time is also increased beyond that of the typical human.
Let's not forget that Cap has undergone and mastered several different fighting styles, as well.
As much as I dislike the character these days, he doesn't need that shield in order to be bad ass.
That Super Soldier Serum definitely gives Cap the edge over Bats.

Cap wins like 8/10 and that's being generous. Batman would need to use his gadgets in order to stand a chance agains him. Cap is actually superhuman and one of the the best hth combatants to ever see print.

Whenever this topic comes up, it's like people forget that DC has a super soldier, Deathstroke. And he's beaten Batman's ass more often than not when they've fought.
