Ok. *Ye shrug*
-
Reminder: Ebro is from Cali just in case this somehow turns into a ny vs south thread. Leave us outta this
-
I agree. All there new acts are fizzling out quickly.
-
I'm surprised The South is still dominant. They all pretty much rap about the same thing and the 808 trap beats get monotonous after a while.
They had a good run but its time for a new sound. -
Krit, Curren$y, and Travis Scott all dropped quality projects last year in addition to Scarface. Seems like a basic attempt by Ebro to bait people into a NY vs. the South exchange
-
Or even a case that the West is running the game.
-
They can't claim Cole because a good portion of them didn't even want him to succeed.
Btw Ebro's trolling ass needs to get the 🤬 outta here. -

Yeah and NY acts are holding the game down

Travis Scott =

Why did he randomly decide to throw shade at Cole? Ebro always trying to create "controversy" and it's so corny. Dude too old for this
-
Niggss to grown an social media savy to pay attention to that silly house 🤬 ...we on a message board talkin to 🤬 in japan wtf he talkin bout...
-
*shrug* it happens, the east had it, the west had it, the south had it. Now it's all dead and redundant now

To be fair, out of the top 10 mixtapes of 2015 voted on by yall mfs, only 1 was from a southern artist (outside of future) and out of the top 10 albums only 1 was from a southern artist (outside of Future).
Where as 4 of the top 10 mixtapes were from NY artist. -

Rap in general is running out of steam.

Rap in general is running out of steam.
Last year was the best sales wise for rap in a while -
There's no dominant region anymore ... Which is a good and bad .
-
A Canadian is running the rap game.

that often sounds like the long lost member of swisha house so wat are you saying -
🤬 Ebro and his trolling ass thoughts. The reason why the Future's and Young thug's of the world are even relevant is because him and other radio personality's like him play their garbabge 24/7. South still has it's hands in the game, but I would love for cats like Krit, Killer Mike and and Cole get more love down here than Boosie, Future and Young thug.
-
I think rap is just regional now. All of us on here are diverse but my homies are not.
