well our job was to screen airport public, so we had to demonstrate all the proper search techniques, answer all scenario based questions, and catch all the hidden items in different tests n trials...

you needed like a 85 to pass

over 90 was a bonus 95 or better was a bigger bonus and a day off

Us craftsman do one for every new job we start. It's usually the first thing cause no point in 🤬 with you if you can't pass the test. And 6 months of inactivity can cause them to make you test again. Then some places have audits which is just an visual and oral assessment test.

There are some certs that might carry over from job to job. Or at least prove you have some experience. Kind of how degrees work, except ours can expire in many cases. It's also a good way to keep clients and employers from under paying you. But usually employers will test all new hires or returning hires.

Audits are just employers keeping everyone on their best behavior now and again. Nothing worth talking bout there.
