i think eventually we all end up that way..theres no reason to get married when youre hella young...married in you 20s is a definite L...dont do it...youre still trying to find out who you are, wait until your 30s...youre mature and settled (hopefully)...and more likely to make it work then

I don't think this necessarily has to do with his age, it has to do with common sense. I agree with an awful lot of what he had to say. Marriage ain't for us, and ain't meant to be.

I can relate, especially to what he started off saying.
I, a woman, feel absolutely no pressure to get married so he really shouldn't generalize women as if we all view marriage identically.
My perception is different than many when it comes to the entire concept of marriage, I don't see it in my future and that is my choice. A woman being opposed to marriage shouldn't be viewed in a negative light but many old heads see it as "Every woman wants to get married." Well, exclude me from that as I cannot share those sentiments.

I do not feel the dire need for marriage, it does not define the fabric of a relationship nor does it justify the friendship and partnership me and my man have built.
The two people involved make a relationship what it is, not a label.

The wedding lasts a day, the "marriage" a lifetime but in these days many prepare for this extravagant hour instead of continuing to grow and build on what really matters, the factors which brought you to that day.

The focus on "marriage" and the lack of respect for relationships is lost. Remember, a relationship does not begin the day after the wedding and many seem to forget that which is why they vow to do better ONCE marriage is involved. So only once there are legal documents involved should I take my man and what we have seriously? SMH x 10!!

I know couples who are not married and yet they have healthier relationships and have a closer bond and share more love, respect and understanding of and for each other than many couples who have walked down that aisle.

Just the same as not all people are built to have and raise children, marriage is not built for all walks of life and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Accept it and don't involve yourself with those who cannot understand your ideals.

I agree with the video. I don't want to get married at all, and fortunately, my woman doesn't want to get married(hell, she's been married before lol).

well I would get married if I was born in the 1950's because women were women back then, but some of the females of this generation running around claiming to be "Women"are a off shoot, hybrid, mutated freak of nature that mostly 🤬 up in the head.

This is mad ironic. Men and feminists have a lot more in common than they think. There are women who have been decrying marriage as a state institution, as something that is purely for social status, and it was dismissed as women trying to break up a home. Now that a man says it, 🤬 are willing to give him props for 🤬 that progressive/radical women have been saying for over 50 years.

Nobody paid attention because one of them hoes tried to 🤬 Warhol

Marriage (when u break it down) doesnt mean 🤬 . The problem is most people do what they have to in the beginning to get the ring...

Then they Relax. What do u do when u dont have to impress someone anymore?

Those women were opposed to marriage because they had no rights. They were given away[most likely for the benefit of the family] to men and once married the husband held all the power and was essentially the owner of his wife. Basically they were mad that they weren't able to sell their 🤬 themselves but instead their father was allowed to. We all know feminists are the reason for the unjust, 🤬 pandering laws.

i don't understand why if a man is looking out for himself and doesn't want to get married, it's alright. but when a woman does the same it's wrong ?
i mean clearly, both genders are on the same page, IMO.

you still aren't enlightened yet? All this real 🤬 I been saying and you never listen huh?

The difference is hypocrisy. These women were the same one's screaming at the top of their lungs in advocacy of equality, but they were only seeking to put women in a position of power. They just wanted to tilt the balance in their favor. If they really cared about equality they would be protesting in the streets about these unjust laws.

Do your research. There were socialist feminist like Angela Davis and Zilla Eisenstein who were against marriage as an institution. Also do your research on anarchist feminists who stated that marriage wasn't about the relationship, but about the state's benefit, making men and women weak simultaneously.

yall takin this 🤬 to another level....aint no one doin no 🤬 research the clues is blue as blues clues daddy....no 🤬 -wait...no...yah...🤬 it

Marriage is a contract, and like all contract service is rendered for something in return. Problem i have is as a man i don't see what we get in return, the day is all about the woman, the house and picket fence is about the woman, etc. I like my life simple as hell, paper work complicates everything, i don't even use credit cards, that's how much i am not into commitments.
