Post some Underground or new artists that are local to you and show your HipHop Love and support for them. A lot of us on here may not be familiar with them if they are not in the mainstream so tells us a little about them alongs with posting any available Music for them...

truthfully the local scene where I'm at (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) has be stagnant for a minute now...

from like 98-06/07 we had things building consistantly year after year and then it's like most of the vets decided to eeeaaaassse back and it's been mostly younger cats with lack of direction and professional standards pushing like their major stars. some of them are now just finally wrapping their heads around the concept that it ain't easy to get paper from hip hop in a hillybilly ass city, let alone live off it.

i'll post some links when i'm actually on my home computer, just killin time at work right now

    ez

Bosko was born Bosco Kante to a Ghanaian Father and an Irish-American Mother in Accra, Ghana where his parents were both teachers in the Peace Corp. He moved with is family to Portland, Oregon at about two months of age. His parents divorced when he was 4 years old, and his father returned to Ghana to live, though he traveled back and forth to visit his son. Bosco and his mother remained in Portland where her parents and sisters were. Bosco was heavily influenced by his Mother’s side of the family’s music and math interests, and he excelled in both subjects starting from a young age. Bosco’s mother, aunts, and grandmother all played instruments at a professional or semi professional level and Bosco’s maternal grandmother was an award winning math professor at Portland State.

The #1 person putting it down for the city is Bosco Kante. (Bosko)

A lot of game from you Kats but those who have posted represent such a small minority of the reason. It makes me wonder how into HipHop the Majority of this community is when they do not even know or support there local artists but have something to say about the rest of the HipHop game...

I've noticed that a few posters have been dropping youtube links of themselves or people they know asking others for opinions. Well this thread will be here for that purpose, ALL up and coming rappers post your youtube videos or links in here for them to be rated and critiqued.

EDIT: Dont just post your music and leave the thread, please comment on other peoples music as well.

He is a good rapper, good flow and delivery. He needs to cut out the Young Money punchline style though. But he does have potential.
