Whats with the skinny jeans these days?

I wonder if anyones noticed the dress code that has been flowing through the streets these days?.. Yeah thats what i'm talking about. Skinny jeans. This style has went from nerds, skaters, rockers all the way up to your very own role models. Rappers. Quite a while back this style was known to be a girly thing? I don't know what it was like in America, Canada or wherever you guys are reading this from but over here in Dundee, Scotland people would get mocked for wearing skinny jeans if this was last year. But now it just seems normal, and do you know why? Because we're all wearing them!!

i mean if youre talkin about a slim fit it just means there aint excessive room in the leg. it looks better that way cause you don't look like the lower half of your body is swollen. that's one thing, but wearin jeans that look like theyre painted onto the leg is another story entirely. -

Not necessarily. I posted this reply in the other Thread:I wear Slim Fitted and Skinny Jeans sometimes. But, my Skinny's are MEN's jeans and my correct waist size so they fit properly. What's messing up the look is when people want to have the tight look and buy WOMEN's jeans and call them Skinny's. -

True. Men's skinny's are not supposed to be skin-tight!!! Its basically a fitted look, not tight-fitted. -
i'm down with slim fit jeans, and sagging slim fit jeans looks better because its further away from skinny.
