Beat Battle or Producer Showcase?

So I got a spot and I want to throw something for us producers to Politick and Network with other producers, A&R, MCs and music lovers alike. I got with a promoter friend and Im thinking of having either a Beat Battle or Producer Showcase. This will be held in Jersey but not far from the GWB.
Do any of you have any ideas on which I should do? I have made some good contacts with established rappers and producers that I know would come out and support but which one do you think will draw a bigger crowd?
BEAT BATTLE - will drive an incentive to make money but there will be a registration fee (not sure how much). I also can hit up sponsors like Digidesign, FL STudio, Propellerhead and Native Instruments for some prizes to give away.
PRODUCER SHOWCASE - basically just have beatmakers come out and play their beats for the night. Get with other producers and rappers to collab or just network.
I might make it a monthly thing depending on how successful it is.
Let me know some feedback on what yall think.

ive been in both situations and preferred the beat battle -
maybe try both?
