I got my pops original copy he had back in the day, and I got some cleaner copies as well. They re-issued the vinyl too.

Mane i love this album, Curtis subject matter still relevant to this day
He may not have been the greatest vocalist but his songwriting/producing ability is only matched by few -
I keep this on the phone, in the car or the computer at all times.
Album covers everything -
Curtis Mayfield is my favorite artist in all music.

The demo for "Underground" on there is tuff too
but the version on "Roots" is my 🤬

i been listening to "Diamond In The Back" for years thinking that was Curtis then i read on the
comment section on youtube, sumbody said that aint even Curtis song or him singing on there
so i looked it up and its by this cat named william de vaughn... smh all these years i thought that
was curtis and i aint even know it, dude jacked the 🤬 out his style tho cause he sound just like him -

Friday night 3am my newborn son wouldn't go to sleep so i thru on Curtis Never Say You Cant Survive album
