Dayum I forgot all about this dude lol
-
he's a joke, but in his prime, 🤬 would be hating to talk sideways about "Battleship Lorenzen"
-
-
^Tim Couch.

September 2010: After a hiatus, Lorenzen is apparently no longer interested in playing football. He's been named general manager of the newly formed Northern Kentucky River Monsters. They play their games at the Bank of Kentucky Center, in Highland Heights, home to Northern Kentucky University's basketball team et. al. They are members of the Ultimate Indoor Football League, an Arena Football League somewhere below the Arena Football League.
The playing days are over, but he's settled down. He's a coach. He's a GM. He was bigger than playing football.
February 2011: Apparently fed up with searching for lesser players, Lorenzen QUITS HIS JOB AS THE TEAM'S GENERAL MANAGER TO BECOME QUARTERBACK.
He leads the Ultimate Indoor Football League with 3,473 yards, throws 81 touchdowns and is intercepted 19 times, and guides the River Monsters to an 11-3 season for the best record in the league. He is named the league's MVP.
July 2011: Lorenzen is named the commissioner of the Ultimate Indoor Football League.

Could still be a backup if he stayed in shape.

Woodson was a great QB. I feel the pros fronted on him hard.

Yall love to rewrite history. So now Tim Couch wasnt 🤬 at UK...

Tim Couch was a number 1 pick. He was far from terrible.

Yall love to rewrite history. So now Tim Couch wasnt 🤬 at UK...
Couch benefitted from an offense that made EVERYONE who ran it look great.
That Hal Mumme 🤬 put up #s at Valdosta State, Uk and NMSU.
With all systems like that, the first guy gets run, the second guy gets exposed, then after that, 🤬 don't get a bite. Couch was the first.
Similar to Urban Meyer at Utah with Alex Smith.
Tebow at Florida (#2)
Now, lets see where Miller gets drafted outta OSU.

'Hefty Lefty' Jared Lorenzen sustains broken leg
Laken Litman, USA TODAY Sports 6:17 a.m. EST February 10, 2014
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Just as Jared Lorenzen was gaining internet fame, his football future is in doubt.
Lorenzen, the former NFL quarterback who plays for the Northern Kentucky River Monsters of the Continental Indoor Football League, sustained a broken right leg during play Sunday.
VIDEO: Watch the play that injured 'Hefty Lefty'
With 11:23 to play in the second quarter, a defender dove at Lorenzen's legs. The 6-4, 320-pound left-hander was helped off the field by several trainers and taken to a nearby hospital. Lorenzen confirmed on social media that he broke his tibia and will have surgery next week.
Lorenzen, who won a Super Bowl ring as Eli Manning's backup in 2007, went viral last week when video showed the "Hefty Lefty" in action during the River Monsters' season opener.
He didn't make it through his next game because he was tackled low, fell hard on the concrete-like turf.
Team owner Jill Chitwood said she heard players on the opposing team, the Erie Explosion, cheer when Lorenzen went down.
Trainers helped him off the field and onto a training table on the sideline. After they wrapped his ankle, he lied down and put a towel over his red face. His father, Joe, rushed to his side and whispered in his ear. Within 10 minutes, paramedics helped him onto a stretcher and took him to a local hospital.
As he was wheeled out of the Bank of Kentucky Center, teammates yelled, "We're praying for you, boy."
