Is this an Atlanta thing or is that how 🤬 🤬 roll worldwide I'm from the Bronx I nvr did subliminal talk that seems to be cowards but I notice everyone does it. I just take it as a 🤬 trait.

To the cowards who are subliminal, why don't you address people directly?

    It's never been my personality, nor do I understand it.

    Some 'theories' I have are that :

    It helps maintain a power imbalance (in making it difficult for the other person to respond to so they're more likely to passively accept it)

    Direct communication can be over-stimulating (whether it's aggressive, neutral or even positive) and having it in the open can make a person feel naked or uncomfortable

    They fear direct confrontation (see previous reason).
