I said this a few pages back with Vegito prolly holding him back and Trunks hitting the Mafuba to seal him.
On the real I think Trunks is going to seal him in his Z sword cuz remember the sword he has now is the same sword Gohan trained with in the Buu saga when the elder kai was sealed.
It's not impossible, they do not have enough fuel or time to go back to the present to get the proper seal and without being attacked. They could however just seal Zamasu in the Z sword and leave it in Gowasu's care where it's safe....

Wait... His producers? At Toei? Or his handlers at Shueisha? The later has far more pull than Toei from the original concept standpoint. -

final Kamehameha was useless.Trunks sword game is too trill and the reason zamasu loses his physical form. Zeno shows up next episode and Trunks obviously doesn't die. Spirit bomb absorbed into Trunks sword to end 🤬 was unexpected.
